2015 Subaru BRZ Turbo Acceleration and Speed

The 2015 Subaru BRZ brings refresh look and small changes. Toyota 86 seeries which comes in a form of a joint venture between Toyota and Subaru spans across the three nameplates. Toyota’s versions are called GT86 and Scion FR-S, while Subaru’s model is known as BRZ. Latter is probably the most interesting, especially in its turbo form which is both looking and performing good. First time, this edition presented at 2014 Chicago Auto Show.

Unlike the conventional models which are easily available and quite affordable, Turbo model will be moved by the FA 20 turbo engine which is basically a turbocharged 2.0L four banger. Since it is going to be mated with a manual transmission, most likely the 6-speed version, engineers down in Subaru will be able to push it to the max and beat around 325 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque out of it. If you can’t wait for it to arrive, there’s a Series. Blue edition of a regular BRZ which packs a little bit more than base models. One of the best features of this model is acceleration. Desing and MPG

All BRZ’s look great and 2-door coupe looks as good as any small sports car. Long nose is coupled with a trapezoid open mouth air intake and dual circular headlights up front. Flared wheel arches add to its aggressive statement even more, and rear end offers dual circular exhaust pipes and a big sport spoiler. 18-inch alloy wheels are also a difference compared to the regular models.

BRZ’s interior is well-designed and features soft-touch materials including the soft floor arrangements. Sport models will feature supportive seats and some carbon fiber dashboard accents together with a racing steering wheel. Infotainment system with 6.1-inch touch screen display will offer navigation here as well as in the top conventional models. As with any other sport coupe, BRZ has issues with room, especially out back, and don’t think of carrying a cargo with you. As far as safety options are concerned, BRZ offers a multi-mode stability control system, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist and brake override.

Unlike regular models which achieve the ratings of 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway thanks to their non-turbo 4-cylinder engine, BRZ Turbo will certainly offer lower figures by a couple points at least.

Prices will also differ, and unlike the $25,000 which is enough for a base model, Turbo might cost at least $35,000. 2015 Subaru BRZ will be present at showrooms in early 2015.
As fas as conclusion, 2015 Subaru BRZ Turbo is a nice-looking small coupe with a racing attitude which excels most in its performance.
